More and more businesses are relying on being constantly connected to the internet, the corporate network, social networks, news feed internet based business services. These connected services are quickly becoming mission critical for many workers including the mobile workforce. Office 365 includes a product called SharePoint Workspace 2010. This product allows disconnected workers to continue working on SharePoint lists, sites and document while offline, and synchronize their changes when they reconnect to the Office 365 service.
